Frank Wick
"I like to imagine my paintings are ideologically informed, albeit loosely, by the Kübler-Ross model of the five stages of grief as it relates to death: denial, anger and attempts at bargaining, followed by depression and withdrawal and ultimately acceptance."
Frank Wick, known for his painted magazine pages and plaster sculpture, was born in Carbondale, Illinois on December 4, 1970. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Iowa in 1993 and later an MFA in sculpture from The University of Miami. He likes cats.
