Expositions for Suspended Guitar Duet pts. 1 and 2
This Sunday, with two guitars hanging in the Tiger Strikes Asteroid Gallery space, Ben Walls will preform his composition "Expositions for Suspended Guitar Duets puts. 1 and 2."
Performances will take place at 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM.
Both guitars are to be suspended 4 feet apart by vinyl cords from the ceiling in a way that allows the guitars to rotate and swing freely, while still supporting the weight of the instrument while it’s being played by the performer. The 5th fret should be at eyelevel with the performer, or to the performer’s preference. The instruments are not to be stabilized by hand unless noted by the score.
