Phoebe Bachman
Phoebe Bachman maintains a practice which situates itself in a space where research, activism, community organizing, and theory begin to take hold as situations that animate inequities felt amongst a variety of publics. Phoebe is currently working as a project coordinator and collaborator on Philadelphia Assembled, a project initiated by artist Jeanne van Heeswijk with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She also frequently participates in anti-racist, queer and gender-justice based movements in the city in Philadelphia. Phoebe holds a BFA in sculpture, with a concentration in Community Art from Tyler School of Art.
