Heidie Mojica
Heidie Mojica (°1995, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico) is a visual artist currently pursuing her BFA at Moore College of Art & Design. Her work is primarily photographic, and autobiographical in nature. Recent subject matter - such as her family, environment, self and traces of the self - has illustrated notions of circumstance, control, identity, and the ability to function both as student and artist within the oppressive conditions of her personal life. This past year she has participated in a master class with artist James Welling. Heidie Mojica currently lives and works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
